We are seeking a professional and organised Medical Administrator/Receptionist to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing exceptional administrative support, managing patient interactions, and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, contributing to a welcoming and efficient environment. Previous office and administrative experience is preferred, with a strong emphasis on excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- Managing appointment scheduling and cancellations using the practice management system
- Handling incoming calls, responding to enquiries, and directing them appropriately
- Maintaining accurate patient records in compliance with data protection regulations
- Processing billing, payments, and insurance claims efficiently
- Coordinating correspondence, including emails and postal mail
- Ensuring the reception area remains tidy, welcoming, and well-stocked with necessary supplies
