Due to rapid business growth we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the hospitality industry. This role requires a blend of kitchen knowledge, team management, and a commitment to food safety standards. As Bar Manager, you will be responsible for creating a vibrant atmosphere while maintaining high standards of service.
Duties:
- Manage daily bar operations, ensuring smooth service and customer satisfaction.
- Supervise and train bar staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering and stock control.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards.
- Collaborate with the head chef to coordinate food preparation and service.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area.
- Create Profit and loss documents and manage spending accordingly.
Experience:
- Proven experience in a bar management or similar role within the hospitality sector.
- Strong understanding of food preparation, culinary techniques, and food production processes.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations relevant to bar operations.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel environment is preferred.
