The Assembler position involves active teamwork and responsibility for installing truck bodies and supporting the production of various components.
- Assemble or install truck body and walk-in van parts
- Use hand, air, and power tools skillfully
- Maintain attention to detail and work meticulously
- Work as part of a team, learning and rotating through different workstations
- Meet quality, quantity, performance, and safety standards
- Obtain necessary supplies and parts
- Assist colleagues when not engaged in assembly
- Keep the department clean and organized
- Participate in 5S and Lean Principles initiatives
Requirements for success:
- HS Diploma or GED
- At least 12 months manufacturing experience, preferably in automotive, RV, or boat industries
- Valid driver's license
- Good attendance record
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various positions
- Experience with power tools and reading gauges
- Ability to understand work orders and safety regulations
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
