Emergency Care Technician

Job Overview An exciting opportunity has become available to recruit Emergency Care Technicians to work within The Emergency Department. We have full-time or part-time positions available. You must have good communication skills and be able to work well as part of a team. Flexibility is required as you will be working days, nights, and weekends to meet the needs of the service. Main duties of the job The post holder will be an integral part of the multi-professional team and will provide support to registered nurses as part of this team. The post holder will be accountable to registered nurses for their nursing practice. Main Duties and Responsibilities Provide support in the effective assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patients and their care management. Provide clinical support as part of the nursing team in the Emergency Department. Deliver evidence-based holistic patient care for this group of patients using acute nursing knowledge and skills acquired through in-house training. Be an effective and efficient member of the ED nursing team, serving as a role model and resource to other healthcare assistants, students, and visitors.
