An exciting opportunity has become available to recruit Emergency Care Technicians to work within The Emergency Department. We have full-time or part-time positions available.
You must have good communication skills and be able to work well as part of a team. Flexibility is required as you will be working days, nights, and weekends to meet the needs of the service. Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide support in the effective assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patients and their care management.
- Provide clinical support as part of the nursing team in the Emergency Department.
- Deliver evidence-based holistic patient care for this group of patients using acute nursing knowledge and skills acquired through in-house training.
- Be an effective and efficient member of the ED nursing team, serving as a role model and resource to other healthcare assistants, students, and visitors.
The Emergency Department is a 24-hour service catering to the surrounding community, including minor and major illnesses/injuries for adults and children. We seek caring and compassionate individuals with strong communication and observation skills to deliver excellent patient-focused care in a challenging environment.
