We are currently seeking a Labourer (Steam Bay Cleaner) to join our Engine Strip & Transmission team at our Barton Under Needwood site. The primary responsibility of this role is to clean vehicles and pack and wrap parts while also assisting with general labouring duties across the site. The ideal candidate will be flexible, hardworking, and willing to operate various mechanical equipment as required., * Clean vehicles such as rafts, engines, raft frames, and transmissions using pressure washer equipment.

Prepare machinery and vehicles for delivery.

Pack and shrink-wrap products securely.

Assist with site maintenance, including litter picking and waste compacting/baling.

Operate forklifts, heavy plant machinery, and other hand trucks.

Load and unload materials and equipment across the site, including manual handling.

Identify damages and report any shortages or quality deficiencies.

Work in accordance with all 5S activities and report any job-related issues to the line manager.

Comply with all company and statutory Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental, and Personnel policies and procedures.

Take on additional tasks as required within the scope of the role.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Hands on experience – open to backgrounds ideally in engineering / Construction etc.
