We need a Planning Engineer for a prestigious construction project in Waltham Abbey.

You will:

  • Identify and manage key internal and external interfaces including,

  • procurement,

  • consents,

  • dependent projects

  • Work closely with key internal and external stakeholders ensuring buy-in to the project schedule.

  • Ensure plans are validated using benchmark data, and design information (BIM) where available.

We’re looking for

  • Significant planning experience working on a variety of construction and infrastructure projects.

  • Proficient in Primavera P6

  • Knowledge and experience in elements of power networks or power generation

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)

  • Full Driving Licence and ability to spend time in a construction office 3 day per week in Waltham Abbey

Desirable

  • Knowledge and experience working with BIM and 4D planning

  • Qualified to degree level, would be advantageous as would having formal project management qualifications such as APM or PRINCE2

  • Knowledge of procurement processes and forms of contracts like NEC Option C Target Cost

Would suit a Planner, Project Manager, Operations Engineer or a Project Engineer., * Planning Engineer
