The Shore Group has partnered with a £200m+ Tier 1 Fit Out Main Contractor, renowned for delivering some of the most technically challenging and design-led projects in the UK market. They are seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to take full commercial ownership of their Retrofit / Cut & Carve office fit-out portfolio, delivering landmark schemes with individual project values ranging from £15m to £50m.
This is a senior, high-impact role where you will lead from the front overseeing project commercial performance, managing and mentoring commercial teams, and ensuring the right resource is in place to support multiple complex workstreams. You will also play a key strategic role in pre-construction, influencing bid strategy, risk profile, and commercial approach on major tenders.
Due to the nature of the position, you will ideally match the following:
- Currently operating at Tier 1 Main Contractor level within a Commercial Fit Out division, or with a traditional fit-out contractor delivering CAT A and CAT B projects.
- Proven experience acting as Commercial Lead on commercial / office fit-out projects valued at £15m+.
- Demonstrable experience commercially managing Cut & Carve projects, with a strong understanding of existing structures, façades/cladding, and external works.
- Track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with supply chain partners, ensuring value, collaboration, and commercial performance.
- Confident in client-facing roles, regularly interfacing with clients, consultants, and professional teams to establish and maintain effective, professional relationships.
