The Shore Group have partnered with an established and highly respected commercial fit out contractor with a strong track record of delivering workplace projects across London. With an enviable reputation for quality, repeat business and client retention, the company has built a successful £20m business delivering both Design & Build and traditionally procured fit out projects for occupiers, landlords and end-user clients across the capital. Having established a solid foundation and loyal client base, the business is now entering an exciting new phase of growth. As part of those plans, they are looking to appoint an Operations Director to join the Board and play a pivotal role in shaping the future direction of the company.
This is more than a traditional Operations Director appointment. It is an opportunity for an ambitious operational leader to take their first Board position and use the experience, structure and best practice gained within a larger commercial fit out contractor to help drive the next stage of growth for an established and successful business. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will take ownership of operational performance across the business, leading project delivery teams, driving consistency and excellence across all projects, and ensuring schemes are delivered safely, profitably and to the highest standards.
You will work closely with the Board to influence strategy, strengthen delivery capabilities, develop teams and help scale the business while maintaining the culture, reputation and client-focused approach that has underpinned its success to date. This role will suit someone who enjoys being close to project delivery while also wanting the autonomy, influence and responsibility that comes with a genuine leadership position.
