Their reputation has been built on taking on schemes that others won't, solving complex delivery challenges and consistently exceeding client expectations.

Following sustained growth and a record order book, they are now seeking an Operations Director to take ownership of a significant portfolio of major projects and play a central role in shaping the next chapter of the business. As a trusted partner to the Board, you'll lead a substantial division, take ownership of a portfolio of flagship initiatives, and help shape the next phase of the business's growth and success.

The Opportunity

You'll lead the delivery of major commercial refurbishment, retrofit and cut & carve schemes across London, typically ranging from £25m to £100m+. You'll move beyond project leadership and become one of the key figures influencing the performance and growth of the wider organisation.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Setting the operational vision for the division
  • Leading and mentoring Project Directors and senior delivery teams
  • Influencing project selection and pre-construction strategy
  • Driving operational excellence, safety, quality and commercial performance
  • Building stronger client relationships with leading developers, investors and occupiers
  • Supporting growth plans and helping shape the future direction of the business

Who We're Looking For

We're interested in speaking with exceptional operational leaders who have built their careers delivering complex projects within Tier 1 contractors, major main contractors or leading specialist refurbishment businesses.

You'll likely bring:

  • Proven leadership of major commercial refurbishment, retrofit or cut & carve projects valued at £25m-£100m+
  • Experience overseeing multiple live projects and senior delivery teams
  • Strong commercial, operational and strategic capability
  • A track record of developing high-performing people and cultures
