The Shore Group exceeds £200 million with multiple specialist divisions, including Integrated Services. We are currently seeking an experienced Estimator to take commercial responsibility for multiple small-scale projects simultaneously. Integrated Services are a fast-paced division, working across both the Property and Retail sectors. You will support the commercial team in delivering tenders ranging from £5k to £500k, in line with our client requirements, such as B&Q and Morrisons. The role is primarily office-based in Hove (5 days per week), with occasional ad hoc site visits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing accurate cost estimations for retail, residential & commercial projects based on tender drawings, specifications, and site visits.
- Evaluating project risks and pricing accordingly to ensure commercial viability.
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information and negotiate competitive prices.
- Producing detailed tender submissions and supporting documentation.
- Working closely with the operations and contracts teams to hand over secured projects effectively.
Requirements:
- Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Previous experience as an Estimator within the construction industry, ideally within retail & residential sectors.
- Strong understanding of construction.
