M&E Project Surveyor – Large Office Fit Out
Location: On-site, Central London
Salary: £40,000 – £60,000 (inclusive) + Bonus + Benefits
Start Date: Urgently required
The Shore Group have been acquired by one of the UK's leading main contractors to source a motivated and career-driven MEP Project Surveyor to join the delivery team on a prestigious £100 million MEP office fit out project in Central London. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, commercially aware, and ready to take ownership of the M&E account through to project completion.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer the M&E contract from post-procurement to final account.
- Conduct Stage 3 and 4 take-offs; assess and compare tender vs. construction issue drawings.
- Manage and act as the single point of commercial contact for M&E delivery, working directly with the sole subcontractor.
- Liaise and report to the Senior Surveyor.
- Work full-time on-site: Monday–Thursday (8am–6pm), Friday (8am–5pm).
- 4–5 years of relevant experience, preferably gained through an apprenticeship route.
- Strong understanding of BMS and sprinkler systems.
- Comfortable working across both electrical and mechanical disciplines (electrical bias preferred but must be well-rounded).
- Experience in both general contractor and subcontractor environments.
- Must be able to hit the ground running post-procurement and see the job through to completion.
