Overview

The Shore Group have been mandated on behalf of a well‑established Design and Build Contractor who are known for delivering high quality CAT A and CAT B projects across the UK for over 30 years. Our client is entering a new phase of strategic growth, and as part of this evolution, we have been retained to identify and appoint a Managing Director to launch and grow a Traditional Office Fit Out business within London and the Home Counties. This is a captivating opportunity for an individual currently working within a Traditional Fit Out / Main Contractor who has the entrepreneurial gravitas to use their experience and existing network to create a new business on behalf of an already successful organisation. As part of the main board, you will be supported fully by the existing leadership team who are invested in assisting this individual to create this new and exciting business venture.

Note: There is potential for equity participation as part of a long‑term leadership strategy.

Qualifications

Due to the nature of the position, you will ideally compliment the following requirements:

• Experience of working for a Main Contractor who either specialises in Office Fit Out, or specifically within their Fit‑Out division executing Traditional / Hybrid / Detail and Build projects.
• This person may come from a delivery, commercial or sales background on the proviso they are currently working within a leadership capacity and able to demonstrate they have played a pivotal role in cultivating new business and increasing profitability.
• A rooted network of industry contacts cross clients, consultants, quantity surveyors, developers and supply chain partners, fostering opportunities from the outset and strengthening the company’s market presence.
