Position Overview
The Shore Group has been appointed on behalf of a long-established multidisciplinary real estate consultancy established for more than 35 years. The firm provides asset management, project management, development management, quantity surveying, and strategic advisory services to investors, developers, landlords, and occupiers.
This appointment is part of a planned succession. The long‑standing CEO is transitioning into a Non‑Exec Chairman role, and the incoming leader will assume full responsibility for strategy, performance, and growth of the business.
You will lead a small team of fee‑earning consultants and take ownership of commercial performance, client relationships, culture, and long‑term business direction.
This role is ideal for someone currently leading a team or division within a medium‑to‑large consultancy or professional services firm who has the ambition to build and grow their own business. It offers a ready‑made platform to turn those aspirations into reality.

Ideal Candidate Profile
Given the nature of this appointment, the successful candidate will ideally demonstrate the following:
- Proven experience as Partner or Divisional Director running a consultancy or professional services business within the property, real estate, or built environment sector.
- Strong people leadership experience managing senior fee‑earning professionals.
- Demonstrable track record of driving commercial performance, revenue growth, and operational improvement.
- Deep understanding of property development, asset management, project management, or cost consultancy.
- P&L ownership and experience shaping strategy at business‑unit or company level.
- Strong client‑relationship track record with credibility at board and investor level.
- Experience leading a business through a transformation or growth phase.
