A leading UK Tier 1 Fit-Out Contractor is seeking an experienced Technical Services Manager to join their team on a prestigious, high-profile office refurbishment project. This role involves working closely with a Tier 1 M&E subcontractor to ensure the successful delivery of all building services on a fast-paced, complex scheme.
You’ll play a key role in the coordination, compliance, and technical delivery of the project, supporting both site activities and the commissioning process.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) services on the project.
- Oversee coordination between design teams, the Tier 1 M&E subcontractor, and site teams.
- Ensure all building services installations meet project specifications and UK regulations.
- Review and approve technical submissions, drawings, and method statements.
- Monitor progress and drive the programme to meet key project milestones.
- Support commissioning, testing, and final handover.
- Maintain strong communication across all stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience on office fit-out or office refurbishment projects.
- M&E-qualified: minimum HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of building services coordination on commercial fit-outs.
- Experience working with or alongside Tier 1 M&E subcontractors.
- Ability to manage technical challenges and provide proactive solutions.
- Available to start Monday, 2nd February.
