The Shore Group is working on behalf of an established Commercial Fit Out Main Contractor who are seeking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to project lead a £16 Million Cut and Carve Office Fit Out project in London. Following this, projects will range from £20 Million - £30 Million.
This is a senior, hands-on role where you will be responsible for the day-to-day commercial management of major fit-out projects, supporting the delivery of projects on time and within budget. You will work closely with the Commercial Manager and project teams to monitor costs, manage subcontractors, and ensure accurate reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior Quantity Surveyors, contribute to tender preparation, and provide commercial insight to support project decisions, giving you exposure to pre-construction planning and bid processes on high-value, complex fit-out projects.
This role is ideal for a Quantity Surveyor looking to step up, broaden their experience on large-scale Cut & Carve projects, and gain visibility with senior stakeholders, while continuing to develop towards a future commercial leadership role.
Due to the nature of the position, you will ideally match the following:
- Experience working within a Tier 1 Main Contractor or a traditional fit-out contractor, delivering CAT A and CAT B office fit-out projects
- Solid experience in a Quantity Surveyor role on commercial/office fit-out projects valued at £15m+
- Exposure to Cut & Carve projects, with a good understanding of existing structures, façades/cladding, and external works
