The Marketing Manager will help develop the Group marketing strategy and drive marketing initiatives that support business growth. This role requires a commercial marketing professional who understands B2B environments, can create compelling sector-specific campaigns, enhance our digital presence, and position The Shore Group as the preferred partner for blue-chip clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support marketing strategy development aligned with Group business plan
- Conduct market analysis and competitor research to identify opportunities
- Create marketing plans with clear objectives, target audiences, and measurable outcomes
- Collaborate with Business Unit MDs to align marketing strategy with commercial needs
- Brand Development & Content Creation
- Develop and maintain consistent brand identity incorporating sector-specific requirements
- Create compelling marketing materials including brochures, case studies and digital content
- Manage brand guidelines ensuring consistent application across all touchpoints
- Develop thought leadership content positioning senior team members as industry experts
- Business Development Support & Work Winning
- Collaborate with BD team to create tender responses, proposals, and presentation materials
- Develop PQQ templates and supporting documentation that showcase Group capabilities
- Create client-specific materials and case studies that demonstrate relevant experience
- Support BD events, networking activities, and client entertainment with marketing materials
- Digital Marketing & Online Presence
- Manage Group website ensuring current content, SEO optimisation, and effective UX
- Develop and execute social media strategy across LinkedIn and other relevant platforms
- Create email marketing campaigns supporting business development and CRM
- Drive Hubspot usage and identify opportunities to improve system effectiveness
- Marketing Operations & Performance Management
- Track and report on marketing performance against key metrics and KPIs
- Maintain marketing asset library and brand resources for Business Unit teams
- Support internal communications ensuring colleagues understand Group news and updates
- Manage exhibition and event participation ensuring professional representation
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Experience & Qualifications
- Degree in Marketing, Comms, Business, or related field; CIM qualification advantageous
- Proven track record developing marketing materials that support work winning
- Experience managing multiple campaigns across different sectors or service lines
- Understanding of tender processes, PQQ requirements, and B2B sales cycles
Commercial & Strategic Skills
- Strategic thinking with ability to develop marketing plans aligned to business growth
- Strong commercial awareness to translate business strategy into effective marketing plans
- Track record working with leadership teams to develop and implement marketing plans
- Experience working with sales/BD teams to create materials that support work winning
- Understanding of ROI measurement and marketing performance analytics
Technical & Creative Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) or equivalent
