Drylining Estimator Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum Location: West Sussex We’re working with a growing Drylining Contractor based near Haywards Heath, who specialise in new build residential projects for some of the UK’s leading housebuilders. With a strong pipeline of secured work and continued business growth, they are looking to add an Estimator to their expanding commercial team. The Role: You’ll be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders for new build housing projects, typically ranging from £500k to £3m in value. Working closely with senior management, you’ll help develop cost plans, analyse drawings, and liaise with clients to ensure all bids are detailed and commercially viable. Responsibilities: * Preparing detailed take-offs and cost estimates for drylining, partitions, and ceilings packages * Managing tender returns and negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors * Supporting project handovers and providing commercial input during live projects * Building and maintaining strong client relationships Requirements: * Experience as an Estimator or Assistant Estimator within drylining, interiors, or fit out * Good understanding of estimating processes and construction drawings * Strong numerical and communication skills * Ambition to grow with a successful and expanding business This is a great opportunity to join a well-respected subcontractor offering long-term career growth, a supportive team, and the chance to play a key role in their continued success
