Overview: The Shore Group has been retained by a prominent Turnkey Design & Build (D&B) Office Fit-Out Contractor to identify and appoint a highly capable Managing Director to lead and scale their London D&B business. This high-impact, succession-planned role has been created as part of the company's long-term strategic growth initiative and represents a clear pathway to becoming Managing Director – London.
As Managing Director, you will take full responsibility for driving growth and operational leadership of the London business. This includes shaping strategic direction, identifying and converting new business opportunities, building high-value client relationships at C-Suite level, and ensuring the business delivers profitable, sustainable, and best-in-class design and build solutions. Note: There is potential for equity participation as part of a long-term leadership strategy.
Requirements:
- Currently operating within a leading D&B business within a client-facing, or business unit leadership role.
- Proven track record in winning and delivering high-value office fit-out projects (Cat A & B).
- A developed network of end-user clients, landlords, agents, or consultants in the London D&B market that can be leveraged to secure new projects and develop existing client relationships.
- Currently working as a Sales Director, Business Unit Director, Divisional MD, or as a ‘Number 2’ seeking the next step into full MD responsibility.
- Highly articulate with strong emotional intelligence, leadership presence, and a consultative style.
