The Shore Group are working with a well-established M&E contractor to recruit a Document Controller for a high-profile £12.5m theatre project (1,700 seats) in West London. With the CAT A installation now complete, this is an exciting opportunity to join at the CAT B stage, supporting the project through to completion over the next 12 months. Following this, you will transition onto further projects within their strong pipeline across the commercial, retail, and office sectors. The role is ideally offered on a permanent basis, although freelance candidates will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain document control procedures in line with project standards
- Ensure consistent naming conventions, version control, and document numbering
- Maintain document registers, templates, and tracking logs
- Check and review all incoming and outgoing documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Distribute drawings, RFIs, submittals, and technical documents across project stakeholders
- Track document progress and proactively chase outstanding responses
- Archive and organise all project documentation to ensure full traceability
- Support project and design teams with timely information release
- Manage document flow across platforms such as Procore, Aconex, and Asite
