Overview:
The Shore Group has been retained by a prominent Turnkey Design & Build (D&B) Office Fit-Out Contractor to identify and appoint a highly capable Director (Managing Director Designate) – Design & Buildto lead and scale their London D&B business.
This high-impact, succession-planned role has been created as part of the company\’s long-term strategic growth initiative and represents a clear pathway to becoming Managing Director – London.
As Director (Managing Director Designate), you will take full responsibility for driving growth and operational leadership of the London business. This includes shaping strategic direction, identifying and converting new business opportunities, building high-value client relationships at C-Suite level, and ensuring the business delivers profitable, sustainable, and best-in-class design and build solutions.
Our client is seeking proactive and ambitious leader who can step into a Managing Director role in the near term. The position is best suited for an accomplished front-end leader with a proven track record in work-winning, client engagement, and senior leadership within the D&B fit-out space.
Note: There is potential for equity participation as part of a long-term leadership strategy.
Due to the nature of the position, you will ideally compliment the following requirements:
- Currently operating within a leading D&B business within a client-facing, or business unit leadership role.
- Proven track record in winning and delivering high-value office fit-out projects (Cat A & B).
- A Developed network of end-user clients, landlords, agents, or consultants in the London D&B market that can be leveraged to secure new projects and develop existing client relationships.
- Currently working as a Sales Director, Business Unit Director, Divisional MD, or as a ‘Number 2’ seeking the next step into full MD responsibility.
- Highly articulate with strong emotional intelligence, leadership presence, and a consultative style.
