The Shore Group has partnered with an award-winning Design & Build Main Contractor in their search for an accomplished Contracts Manager to lead and deliver high-profile CAT A & CAT B workplace projects. This role offers a unique opportunity to oversee projects from tender through to completion, driving operational excellence and ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

The Contracts Manager will work closely with the Head of Operations, playing a pivotal role in refining and standardising project delivery processes. With a strong emphasis on project planning, site setup, programming, and quality control, this individual will be instrumental in shaping the strategic direction of project execution.

  • Lead the full lifecycle of D&B office fit-out projects ranging from £1M to £20M, ensuring successful delivery on time and within budget.
  • Develop, schedule, and coordinate project programmes, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with client expectations.
  • Act as the key liaison for clients, consultants, and subcontractors, maintaining strong relationships and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee contract administration, including handling delays, loss and expense claims, extensions of time, and partial possession matters.
  • Conduct regular project progress reviews, delivering comprehensive reports to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Lead internal team meetings, ensuring alignment between site management, commercial, procurement, design, and operational teams.
  • Maintain accurate project data within the internal IT system, ensuring regular updates and clear documentation.

Currently employed by a leading D&B or Traditional Fit-Out contractor or within the Commercial Fit-Out Division of a top-tier main contractor. Proven experience delivering D&B office projects valued between £1M - £20M. Strong knowledge of major project contracts, including tendering and execution processes. Experience of executing cut & carve office fit-out projects would be an advantage. Previous exposure to client relationship management and pitch presentations is desirable.
