The role of Demand Planner at our Chapeltown, Sheffield site is perfect for someone looking for a fast-paced and exciting role. Ideal for someone with experience in Demand Planning. This role is hybrid with 2-3 days onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive timely and accurate sales forecasts, new business opportunities, customer expectations, and ad-hoc demand to develop production plans.
- Strong collaboration with departments, especially Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Planning, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Management, as well as our key customers.
- Create a rolling weekly forecast by forecast group / SKU / stocking location.
- Maintain accurate and robust forecast on the Blue Yonder forecasting system.
- Agree / align forecasts with the commercial team.
- Lead weekly S&OE meetings.
- Lead Demand Review meetings with commercial, preparing and analysing required data (forecast accuracy, largest SKU errors, forecast alignment, promotions, discontinuations, new launches, etc.).
- Supply review meetings.
Experience Required:
- Experience of working in a demand planning/planning environment.
- Experience in working with manufacturing processes.
- Experience using MRP/ERP systems.
- Understanding of supply chain processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Analysing and reviewing supply chain reports.
- Fluent English.
- Fluent in MS Excel.
