The Industrial Maintenance Technician 3 will complete all emergency repairs and assigned preventive or routine maintenance of production and facility equipment of moderate to high degree of complexity, on an independent basis to support the overall goals of the company.
Responsibilities- Maintain and repair production and facility equipment, perform emergency repairs, and conduct preventive or routine maintenance with a focus on reliability and safety to support operations.
- A minimum of a High School diploma or GED/HiSET required.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar position required.
- Mechanical and electrical skills required.
- Ability to read electrical schematics required.
- Basic verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to diagnose and make complex repairs on equipment.
- General knowledge of all building trades.
- Good interpersonal skills required/team player.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
- Ability to learn the job and perform work productively and safely.
- Reliable; good attendance is required.
- Required to work mandatory overtime or be on emergency call as needed.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to a maximum of 50 lbs. frequently.
- Continuous standing required.
- Frequent walking and stooping required.
- Occasional sitting, crouching, and reaching/working overhead required.
- Good visual acuity and manual dexterity required.
- Must wear hearing protection and safety shoes.
- Schedule is Saturday – Monday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM – 36 hours/week.
- Overtime pays time and a half after 36 hours per week.
- Day shift pays an extra shift incentive on all hours.
