We are looking to appoint a Teacher of Engineering or Design Technology. You will work alongside the Principal Alex Reynolds and the UTC staff to further develop a centre of excellence focusing on Engineering & Manufacturing and Creative & Digital Media. Under the direction of the Curriculum Director you will support the delivery of a range of qualifications. These include the Cambridge Nationals in Engineering and GCSE Design Technology at KS4 and the Level 3 BTEC in Engineering, T level in Engineering and A-level Design Technology at KS5.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of the above curriculum, including the T level which will involve ongoing planning, employer engagement and the successful securing and delivery of work placements. You will be a highly skilled practitioner who understands the challenges of educating 13–19-year-olds in an employer-led technology rich environment. Effective partnership working is absolutely critical to the UTC’s success.
