The Sheffield College is a further and higher education institution dedicated to providing academic, vocational, and professional qualifications to approximately 13,000 young people and adults annually. About the role
Working for our subsidiary company Sparks Teaching Services, you will provide support on a specified module or modules, including the preparation and delivery of lectures, workshops, and practical sessions to aviation students.
Please note that this is a temporary role until 9th July 2026.
Main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Formal scheduled delivery of learning and teaching
- Preparation of teaching materials
- Assessment and moderation
- Curriculum and assessment design as appropriate
- Responsibility for administration relevant to the post
- Student support
- Independent studies supervision
- Attendance at meetings, e.g., programme committees and subject/team meetings
- Participation in continuous professional development
- Participation in student monitoring and reporting, course review, and evaluation processes
- Participation in quality assurance and control procedures

As the successful candidate, you will be offered an hourly rate between £13.92 and £21.65, depending on duties performed.
