The predicted salary is between 11 - 16 £ per hour.

We are seeking reliable, attentive and professional individuals to join our pool of Casual Exam Invigilators to support the smooth running of examinations throughout the academic year. This role is essential in ensuring exams are conducted in accordance with regulations, maintaining a calm and secure environment for students. In addition to standard invigilation duties, some shifts will require you to act as a Reader and/or Scribe for students who are entitled to access arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setting up and collecting exam materials
  • Ensuring exam regulations are always followed
  • Providing clear instructions to candidates before and during exams
  • Recording attendance and reporting any incidents
  • Acting as a Reader (reading exam questions aloud verbatim)
  • Acting as a Scribe (writing answers exactly as dictated by the student)
  • Supporting students with approved access arrangements in a professional and discreet manner

This position is subject to robust vetting procedures, including an online search for all shortlisted candidates, in line with our Trust’s commitment to safer recruitment. An enhanced criminal record check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), formerly known as the CRB, is required. You will be asked to disclose all relevant unspent and, where applicable, unfiltered spent reprimands, formal warnings, cautions, and convictions.
