We are looking for a skilled, creative, enthusiastic marketeer, with proven digital marketing experience, to take the Trust’s marketing and communications to the next level.
We are a registered charity caring for the historic Grade I-listed Sharpham House and Estate on the banks of the River Dart near to Totnes.
Salary is £38,025 pro rata for 3 or 4 days per week (22.5hrs to 30hrs pw, £22,815 - £30,420).
At the heart of the Sharpham Trust ethos is our desire to build a more mindful, compassionate and environmentally sustainable world.
We connect over 3,000 people annually with nature and foster mindfulness and well‑being through our programme of retreats, mindfulness courses, public events, outdoor learning and the arts.
In recent years the Trust has greatly expanded its activities, integrating and increasing the scope of our work.
Our estate now embraces various retreat centres, operating all year round, together with online offers, serving a wide range of audiences and interests.
Responsibilities
Line manage the Communications Officer and collaborate with colleagues across the Trust, including programming, finance, bookings, health and safety, property management, gardening and catering.
Lead the development and execution of marketing and communications strategies to build lasting authentic relationships with participants and expand engagement.
Leverage the new Zoho CRM system to understand users and tailor communications effectively.
Attend Sharpham at least part of each week to interact with colleagues; remote work is limited.
About you
Strong digital marketing background with proven techniques.
Experience using customer data to tailor marketing priorities.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently within a collaborative team.
Capacity to manage multiple priorities and consistently deliver high standards.
