Shakespeare’s Globe is looking for a Visitor Operations Assistant (Part-time 8 hours, weekends) to join our VAO Operations team. We are seeking Visitor Operations Assistants to join the Visitor and Audience Operations team on a permanent, part-time basis (8 hours per week across weekend days/evenings), to help us create a warm, welcoming and memorable experience for everyone who visits Shakespeare’s Globe.

The role: As a Visitor Operations Assistant, you’ll work across our busy site supporting tours, exhibitions, performances, events, workshops and retail. You’ll welcome and assist visitors, share your knowledge of the Globe, support access needs, help with sales and ensure our public spaces remain safe, welcoming and well presented.
We’re looking for friendly, confident and reliable people who enjoy working with the public and as part of a collaborative team. An interest in history, heritage, culture or the arts is a bonus, along with enthusiasm for sharing the Globe with visitors from around the world.
