Production Manager West Bromwich £40-50k The company manufacture and produce steel manufactured products and have a long-serving employee due to retirement. You will oversee and manage all aspects of production scheduling, including material planning, fabrication, welding, and coating processes. This role requires close collaboration with the General Manager, Foreman and Coating Plant Supervisor to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of products. Key Responsibilities: - •Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization. •Plan and coordinate material requirements to ensure timely availability for production. •Oversee fabrication and welding activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project timelines. •Provide clear instructions and guidance to the Foreman and Coating Plant Supervisor regarding production priorities and schedules. •Monitor production processes, identifying potential bottlenecks and implementing corrective actions as needed. •Collaborate with the quality assurance team to maintain high standards of product quality. •Maintain accurate records of production activities, inventory levels, and material usage. •Continuously assess and improve production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Qualifications and Experience: •Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on production planning and control.
