My client is an established manufacturing company who are looking to add to their team. This is a physical role (Packing / Unpacking plus some production / assembly work) as well as liaising closely with the office team. Responsible for the location, allocation, and movement of all parts and products to fulfil all internal and external customer orders and outgoing shipments. Verification of all materials as they are received into the stores area checking both product type and quantity. Responsible for visual quality inspection of all goods prior to delivery. Responsible for correct delivery of parts, with correct labelling, quantities and evidencing.
Duties:
- Receiving components and materials from customers and suppliers.
- Kitting and issuing components and materials to the shop floor as specified by the job card in a timely manner to meet manufacturing schedules.
- Goods inwards documentation checking, goods checking and acceptance of all deliveries to stock.
- Ensure all received stock/sub-contract work is undamaged, to the correct quality of finish required and that everything ordered is present and accounted for.
- Responsible for visual quality inspection of all goods prior to delivery.
- Responsible for correct delivery of parts, with correct labelling, quantities and evidencing.
