Role summary: Setting up and operating metal processing machinery; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.
Responsibilities / Tasks:
- Plan machining by studying job cards, interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances, and setting up accurately.
- Load feed mechanism by lifting material into position.
- Maintain specifications by observing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
