I am currently working with a very good manufacturing client based in Telford. They produce precision engineered components for customers world-wide. At present they are looking to add to their team and wish to recruit a proven hands-on machine shop supervisor.
You will be responsible for day-to-day machining activities from programming (from scratch), setting and operating CNC machines, predominantly turning orientated with some milling. You will also be responsible for managing two other CNC Machinists, controlling jobs from start to finish, through inspection and into packaging.
If you have the proven CNC machining skills with supervisory experience, the ability to produce quotations, able to programme from scratch with a positive attitude and knowledge of improving efficiency then you could be perfect. Knowledge of Mazak machines, mazatrol, fanuc controls would be beneficial.
