This successful company is one of the leaders within their field. They are now looking to appoint an experienced all round Digital Marketer. As the sole Marketing person for the company, this is a great opportunity to showcase your skills, put your mark on the marketing function and take ownership of the company’s entire marketing development and creating/shaping their digital vision and direction.
Working closely with Senior Management, the role will initially emphasise leading their digital expansion by planning and executing all digital marketing channels and strategies. This includes:
- Content Marketing: Develop a content strategy which you will build written and video content for, creating fresh engaging content which will publish both on the website and other digital channels to drive traffic to the site, increase authority as experts within the field and improve search and social presence.
- PPC: Creating effective and targeted ad campaigns to penetrate the market and improve ROI. Ensure SEO best practice and effective roadmaps are adhered to; conducting keyword and competitor research to identify new opportunities; developing fresh engaging meta data strategies; devising SEO technical changes; monitoring, auditing and health checking website; making continuous improvements to digital strategy moving forward.
- Social Media: Develop, run and increase penetration through social media strategies to grow organic and paid social presence. Particularly generating and managing UGC strategies, to generate high quality social content that can be reposted and reused on the website as social proof and increase Customer Perceived Value of brand and products.
- E-comm Management: Managing and improving Magento platform particularly the CMS, catalogue and blog. Launching and project managing website improvements and developments with 3rd party web developers to improve SEO, UX, conversion rates, customer retention.
- Remarketing: Maximise customer value and return on investment from marketing campaigns by automation and effective targeting, retargeting and segmentation of customers for further email marketing and website promotions.
- Data: Strong data experience and technical know-how will be required for this role. You will need to maintain, develop and implement measuring, tracking and reporting tools to analyse site performance, to demonstrate site success and ROI, recognise patterns and synergies in and between campaigns. Ensuring data is correct and consistent.
- Reviews: Managing review request campaigns and responding to customer reviews, both positive and negative. Engaging with 3rd party review platforms.
Promote and increase digital know-how with other members of staff for the company to move forward as a whole. Print elements may be involved in the future (brochures etc.).
Requirements:
- Digital Marketing background.
- Good understanding and hands-on experience of SEO with the ability to create and execute a campaign strategy, and a track record in delivering tangible results.
- Knowledge of current SEO best practices and strategies and SEO tools (e.g. Screaming Frog, Moz, SEM rush, Ahrefs).
- Strong knowledge of PPC, social media campaigns and ability to work on campaigns simultaneously with an e-commerce website.
- The company website is Magento, so working knowledge of this platform and extensions is essential.
- Experience in using Adobe, particularly Premier Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator as well as Canva.
- Advanced user of Google apps esp. GA4, Tag Manager, Search Console, Merchant Centre, Ads, Business, YouTube.
- Advanced knowledge of Social channels, particularly Meta and TikTok.
- Experience of implementing effective link development techniques and strategies.
- A high level of computer literacy and knowledge.
- Strong ability to self-manage.
- Knowledge of HTML + CSS code languages.
- Excellent presentation, communication and written skills essential.
- Ideally holding a Degree in Marketing or IT degree.
- Driving license and transportation, due to location.
