My client is an established and growing manufacturing/engineering company producing high quality products for a number of customers across the UK.

Responsibilities include:

  • Programming, setting and operating one old style CNC Lathe with 1 turret, 1 spindle, no live tooling.
  • Conversational Fanuc programming at the machine.
  • Programming, setting and operating one Citizen BNA with 2 turrets, 2 spindles and live tooling.
  • Using Wizard software on the laptop or at the machine for long-hand programming (Fanuc).

The role is very much a 'hands on' position, you will be part of a small multi-skilled team and will move around areas to where the work is. They are hoping for a candidate who can bring outside experience to help make the CNCs run more efficiently and better.

This role may suit a CNC Setter/Operator who is looking to develop their programming skills. There will be an opportunity to integrate and get used to the machines and environment.
