Our client is an established, stable and successful manufacturer of plastics injection mouldings. They are looking to add to their team.
This is a full time, permanent position. You must have experience in injection moulding, raw materials handling, machine setting, tooling and assembly.
Responsibilities
Day shift - 8am - 4pm - 30 minutes lunch break - Monday to Friday.
- Operate and maintain Injection Moulding Machines, (including Arburg & Boy).
- Monitor production processes to ensure quality output.
- Handle materials efficiently and safely.
- assemble and disassemble tooling as needed.
- Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues.
- Work with logic controllers to adjust machine settings.
- Use hand tools to fabricate components.
- Potentially 7am - 3pm if this shift fits better with commuting distance/traffic.
- Potentially 7am - 4pm Monday to Thursday and 7am -12pm Friday if this shift fits better with commuting distance/traffic.
Requirements
- Experience in materials handling within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of tooling maintenance and assembly procedures.
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting machinery issues.
- Ability to work with logic controllers for process adjustments.
