My client is an established and successful engineering/manufacturing client providing precision engineering services and manufacturing pressed components to a variety of industries. They are looking to add to their team and succession plan for the future. The client is keen to find somebody eager and keen to pursue a career in press tool manufacture.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and refurbishment of production tooling
- CNC & Manual Turning and Milling
- Maintaining, repairing, modifying and producing new press tools
- Controlling stock levels of press tool spares
- Generating spares lists with the relevant controlled drawings ready for manufacture
Working hours are: 7:30am to 4pm Monday to Thursday, 7:30am to 1pm Friday. 25 Holidays + Stats.
The successful candidate will be looking for a career in toolmaking; you could be a recently qualified apprentice or perhaps a machinist looking to move into a new engineering discipline.
