The Seaview Hotel & Restaurant is an iconic, much-loved island hotel that’s been operating since 1878. Our 24 well-appointed guest rooms and adjacent fisherman’s cottage, along with the Pump Bar, restaurant and patio, have played host to many well-known guests over the years. Our guests expect the very best, with the Seaview Hotel rich in history, and its public areas celebrating Seaview’s maritime connections.

Role Overview:

  • Greeting residents, guests, and locals warmly, exceeding expectations and providing an exceptional hospitality experience throughout their visit.
  • Taking food and drinks orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Prepare, serve, and present beverages quickly, efficiently and to our standards.
  • Adhere to all company procedures, policies, and licensing laws.
  • Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel, communicating with your fellow team and managers to ensure all standards of operations are met.

Role Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a hotel, restaurant, or bar environment.
  • The ability to multi-task and think quickly on their feet and under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A positive team player with a can-do attitude and being able to exceed our guests’ expectations.
  • Previous experience is preferred for our Front of House, Bar and Serving roles; however, full training will be provided.
