Salary: £85,000 – £95,000

Location: Remote-first, local to London hub

Employment type: 6 monthFTC with a view to go permanent

  • Extremely well capitalised with huge demand, they can’t scale quick enough!
  • Their main aim is to expand their presence in the US – a lot of hires will be based in the US across NY and SF.

The Role:

Reporting to the VP People who we recently placed, you'll be supporting their growing Tech teams by providing hands-on, day-to-day support, partnering closely with managers and employees. You will serve as a key point of contact for departments, helping implement People programs and initiatives that support the business’s strategy and create a positive, high-performance culture.

Key focus:

  • Business Partnering : Serving as the main point of contact for teams on a wide range of people topics, from hiring to performance management.
  • Champion of our Culture: Role-modelling values, promoting adaptability and championing growth and high-performance.
  • Talent Management: Supporting managers in identifying high-potential employees, recognising contributions, and driving career development initiatives.
  • People Relations: Handling People relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary matters, and performance improvement plans.
  • HR Policy Implementation : Helping to implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Engagement & Retention : Working on initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement and satisfaction, such as wellness programs and feedback mechanisms.
  • HR Metrics & Reporting : Monitoring report on HR metrics, identifying trends in turnover, engagement, and performance, and recommending areas for improvement.
  • Talent Advocate : Elevating the talent selection process as a rigorous bar raiser, ensuring we only hire the most exceptional talent.
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) : Leading and supporting DEI initiatives to ensure a diverse and inclusive work environment.

What we’re looking for:

Experience:

  • Experience in a People Partnering role in a dynamic, fast-growth Tech business
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law (US or international experience is a plus)
  • Experience managing employee relations issues with discretion and fairness
  • Experience working with and supporting multiple stakeholders, and in particular Sales & GTM teams as well as Tech
  • Demonstrated experience with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives, ensuring HR policies and practices create an inclusive and fair workplace culture
  • Some experience in AI, or an interest in AI
