We are currently recruiting exclusively for an experienced finance and accounting manager for this interesting not for profit organisation. As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day financial operations and all accounting activities across the organisation.
Reporting to the Finance Director, this Finance Manager role will be 'hands-on' and varied. The main responsibilities will include:
- Maintain and reconcile all the transactional accounting activities, including purchase and sales ledger, reconciliations and sales invoices.
- Maintain and reconcile the petty cash and staff expense processing including personal and company credit card transactions.
- Prepare and submit monthly payroll instructions to the bureau, post payroll journals and reconcile salary control accounts.
- Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns and reconcile control accounts.
- Maintain the fixed asset register and reconcile fixed asset balances to the nominal ledger.
- Prepare quarterly accruals and prepayments and post journals, complete year-end routines and post-audit adjustments.
- Produce financial analysis for income streams and assist with preparation of quarterly management accounts.
