We’re now looking for a warm, friendly and enthusiastic Guest Services Assistant / Receptionist to join our Guest Services team in Padstow. Based at the restaurant reception at our iconic Seafood Restaurant, you’ll help look after our hotel bedrooms across Padstow and make sure every guest receives a warm welcome and a brilliant stay. This is a flexible, casual role, ideal for someone looking for hours that work around their lifestyle and other commitments. Evening and weekend availability is essential.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Giving all our hotel and restaurant guests a warm welcome and friendly goodbye
  • Helping to make sure our residents have the best stay possible
  • Assisting with hosting in our Seafood Restaurant
  • Helping guests with their luggage and parking
  • Dealing with guest enquiries and restaurant bookings
  • Being on hand to answer questions and help guests make the most of their time with us
  • Working closely with the wider Guest Services, restaurant and hotel teams to make sure everything runs smoothly

What we’re looking for:

  • A warm, friendly and welcoming personality
  • Previous experience in hospitality, hotels, restaurants or customer service is helpful, but we’re more interested in your attitude and approach
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence speaking with guests
  • Someone who genuinely enjoys looking after people and making them feel welcome
  • A calm, helpful and positive approach, even when things get busy
  • A hands-on team player who is happy to get stuck in wherever needed
  • A genuine interest in great food, drink and hospitality
