Salary range: £14,808 to £17,911 (£37,021 to £44,779 FTE)

This is an excellent opportunity to join the Travel and Expenses Office as a Travel and Expenses Manager. As a Travel and Expenses Manager, you’ll be responsible for supporting the office in managing the provision of advice, support and services to MSPs, their staff, the SPCB and Parliament staff in relation to travel and expenses.
This role is a job-share, working two days per week (Monday and Tuesday), sharing the work with a colleague who covers the remaining working days. The Travel and Expenses Office is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Reimbursement of Members Expenses Scheme on behalf of the SPCB. We provide advice and guidance on the Scheme, while maintaining its transparency and principles. We provide support and guidance to Members, their staff and SPS staff in relation to the administration, processing and publication of travel and expenses.
To succeed in this role, you’ll have excellent communication skills, be able to act with integrity, and build positive working relationships. You’ll work collaboratively with colleagues across the parliamentary service and be committed to a working culture that values diversity and inclusion. We’re looking for someone who is keen to learn new skills and develop their knowledge as well as being able to work well under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and manage your time effectively to meet tight deadlines.
