This is a high-impact leadership role within our Partnerships & Engagement function, responsible for shaping how we communicate our purpose, missions and investment activity to a wide range of stakeholders - from government and industry partners to investees and the wider public.
You will play a pivotal role in building awareness, understanding and reputation, ensuring the Bank’s voice is clear, consistent and compelling across all channels. Operating in a complex and high-profile environment, you will lead external and internal communications, manage media engagement, oversee events strategy, and ensure alignment with marketing activity. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, including the Executive and Board, and lead a small team to deliver high-quality, impactful communications.

- Internal Communications: Create and deliver an engaging internal communications plan to support alignment and engagement across teams.
- Digital & Channels Oversight: Oversee the Bank’s website and social channels to maximise reach and impact.
- Agency Management: Manage external PR and digital agencies to deliver high-quality outputs.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary, and experience in financial services or the public sector would be advantageous, but not essential.

The salary range is £85-100k, depending on experience, with additional benefits including 30 days annual leave plus public holidays, a 12% non-contributory pension, volunteer days, and more.
