The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.

Providing a comprehensive and professional governance administrative service for the Chief Executive and Chair of the Boards, including drafting and typing of letters, reports, agendas, presentations, diary and travel management and event organisation, always ensuring confidentiality

  • Working closely with the Business Leadership Team for their input into meetings and other events, always ensuring confidentiality

  • Administering meetings required by the Business Leadership Team by preparing agendas, formatting reports, preparing reports, action lists, minutes and arranging meetings

  • Acting as the first point of contact for Boards/Committees and working closely with them on tasks including:

  • Administering all Board/Committee meetings, including invites to visitors and observers etc.

  • Formatting all board and committee papers

  • Drafting reports as required

  • Inputting, updating and amending paperwork before uploading and maintaining the meeting software system and liaising with the provider as required

  • Organising and managing external events, e.g. AGM, Board Strategy event etc.

  • Co-ordinating all travel and hospitality requirements

  • Undertaking appropriate post-meeting actions to ensure implementation of decisions arising from meetings or as required by the Chief Executive and ensure an appropriate forward plan

  • Administering the Governance Planner and other forward plans

  • Providing an administration service to governance-related papers, e.g. updates to rules and strategies

  • Providing support to colleagues at all levels on governance queries and resolving complex issues in consultation with the Chief Executive and Director of Finance, Governance and Assets

  • Working with the Chief Executive and Director of Finance, Governance and Assets to review the governance functions within the Association

The successful candidate will have an HNC in Secretarial/Administration or an equivalent qualification or work experience in a similar environment. A Governance qualification would be desirable but is not essential.
