Instructional Assistant Floater(s) – Elementary – All Buildings

Job Description:

To assist the classroom teacher with implementation of individual and group instruction, testing and assessment procedures. Assist in providing IEP support and carrying out of behavior management plans and professional directives when applicable. Assist in other areas as requested by the classroom teacher and/or Pupil Services in support of educational programming.

This position will travel to various buildings as needed.

Compensation: $23.37 per hour after successful 90-day probationary period

Schedule: 10 month position, 6 1/2 hours per day (8:30 am to 3:30 pm) not including a 1/2 hour unpaid lunch.

Qualifications:

1. Must have a minimum of 2 years college or 48 college credit hours.
2. Effective interpersonal skills, positive attitude and a desire to work with children.
3. Strong organizational skills.
