We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals and will possess the ability to engage and inspire learners of all ages. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working closely with children and have a knack for explaining complex concepts in an accessible manner.

Duties

• Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs
• Assist students with homework, exam preparation, and understanding of subject material
• Develop personalised learning plans that cater to the unique learning styles of each student
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to both students and parents
• Create a supportive and encouraging learning environment that fosters confidence and motivation
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to each student\’s education
• Stay updated on educational best practices and curriculum changes

Skills

• Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, with a strong understanding of educational principles
• Experience working with children, demonstrating patience and adaptability in various learning situations
• Knowledge of special education practices is highly desirable, enabling support for diverse learning needs
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, allowing for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple students\’ needs and schedules efficiently
