We are looking to appoint a great teaching assistant to provide support in our classes. Ideally, we want someone who has real experience of working in an effective classroom environment and is fully committed to helping children to achieve their very best. We want a teaching assistant who wants to stand out, not be outstanding. Ideally, we are looking for someone who also has experience of working with pupils with specific learning needs (but training will be on offer).
Key Qualities / Requirements
- Be positive, adaptable and flexible
- Be patient and caring, whilst setting clear boundaries
- Have experience with, or knowledge of, children with ASC
- Have English and Maths to GCSE level or NVQ equivalent
- Have excellent communication and organisational skills
- Understand the importance of child protection and safeguarding
28 hours and 45 mins per week, Monday to Friday 8.45 am - 3.30pm, term time only, Grade 15 point 4, and is fixed term until 31 August 2027. This position will include an additional daily 30 minute lunchtime duty. Grade 16 point 2, fixed term until 31 August 2027.
