Provide a professional repair to a variety of hardware and peripherals within the SCC Repair Centre. Security clearance or a willingness to apply is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Management teams in the daily running of the operation and any other duties as necessary.
- Diagnose and repair devices such as PCs, laptops, printers, retail equipment, etc., with ability to repair devices at component level.
- Capable of supporting other departments as and when required.
- Update relevant business systems to required standards and in line with agreed processes.
- Be compliant with management system policies, company policies & guidelines, and take responsibility for health & safety in the workplace.
- Be approachable and accepting of training requirements in relation to the role and operation.
- Maintain the skills and knowledge required within the team to perform the role to the required standard.
- Handle equipment of varying weights and sizes in line with manual handling guidelines and training provided.
- Embrace new technologies and adapt to change.
- Undertake Health and Safety activities commensurate with SCC Group Health and Safety Policy.
Skills & Experience
- Careful and precise handling of equipment to ensure high quality repairs.
- Experience in electronics repair or technical maintenance environment.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and repair techniques.
- Accreditations to repair Tier1 Product repairs e.g. HP, Lenovo & Dell.
- Ability to identify and resolve faults using standard diagnostic tools.

Salary Package: £23,809.50 per annum pro‑ra ta. Hours: 9.00 am – 5.30 pm Monday – Friday.
