We are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with active DV & NPPV3 clearance to support a secure, mission-critical environment. This role requires strong technical leadership across reliability engineering, automation, monitoring, and operational support within a high-security, onsite setting.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve the reliability, performance, and availability of critical services.
- Implement automation across infrastructure, deployments, and monitoring to reduce operational toil.
- Support incident response, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
- Strengthen observability using modern tooling (logging, metrics, dashboards, alerting).
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and service resilience.
- Work closely with engineering, operations, and security teams to ensure compliant, stable operations.
- Produce documentation, runbooks, and operational handover materials.
- Ensure all activity aligns with security, compliance, and audit requirements for DV/NPPV3 environments.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in SRE, platform engineering, or advanced systems engineering roles.
- Hands-on skills in automation, scripting, and tooling (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Experience with monitoring/observability platforms (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
- Familiarity with containerisation and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes desirable).
- Strong troubleshooting, incident-response, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working within secure, regulated, or government environments.
- Professional references required.
