As a Business Analyst at SCC, Europe's largest independent IT services group, you will support the organisation’s commitment to technology excellence. In the dynamic landscape of our IT Transformation programmes spanning the next three years, you will gather and present business requirements for various IT projects, acting as a bridge between business units, stakeholders and the solutions/development delivery team. You will comprehend and document current business operations and future needs, assisting in identifying optimal strategies for change that align with the organisation’s business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive agile working methodologies within the team, identifying and comparing optimal processes and delivery methods, measuring outcomes and contributing to decision‑making.
  • Apply structured approaches to identify, investigate, analyse and communicate complex business problems and opportunities within defined projects.
  • Model business elements independently, understanding the impact of potential changes on processes, systems, structures, data and roles, and articulate interactions.
  • Take charge in identifying opportunities to enhance business performance within specific projects, leading analysis, design, prioritisation and implementation of process and business changes.
  • Support design, execution and assessment of business process tests and usability evaluations within project parameters.
  • Identify, analyse, challenge and validate business and user requirements; coordinate and review prioritisation, working with limited supervision.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  • Identify and analyse IT system capabilities, develop models and system requirements for bespoke IT systems or software packages, ensuring alignment with objectives and requirements.
  • Understand testing stages and purpose, support use of relevant tools and techniques, and contribute to overall quality assurance.
  • Ensure business analysis activities align with SCC’s IT Transformation programmes and broader organisational goals.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Hold a degree or possess equivalent experience providing a solid educational background.
  • Demonstrated substantial experience in business analysis, particularly in large‑scale business transformation projects, applying structured methodologies for multi‑million‑pound initiatives.
  • Hands‑on experience with Microsoft D365 CRM/ERP applications, including relevant modules and business processes.
  • Strong focus on business analysis, requirements development, and reporting with tangible impacts on operations.
  • Expertise in business process mapping and analysis, working with people, process and technology to devise innovative solutions.
  • Deep understanding of structured business analysis methodologies and best practices, requirements definition and reporting methods.
