As Reception Manager for Scarlet and Bedruthan Hotels you will work with your team to create places where people want to be, delivering an exceptional welcome that extends throughout our guests' stay, through supportive & inspirational leadership, team growth, and executing a clear, consistent and adaptable operating plan that values individuals. Our receptions are the heart of our hospitality and truly embody the 'home from home' style hosting across both our sites.
Priorities:
- Deliver a bespoke, informed, seamless and memorable welcome to hotel guests, non-residents and fellow team members.
- Be at the helm of your ship at the busiest times, flow between the hotels and see the sunset and sunrise in each business each week.
- Coordinate your agile teams with clarity so our people appreciate the value of every interaction and the part they play in our wider plan and goals.
- Take a fresh approach to learning ensuring training and development is available and appropriate to our seasonality. This will provide clear results in improving our guest experience and net promoter scores.
- Work with our group leaders, be flexible and dynamic to support the whole management team so our business flourishes and all our people can contribute and celebrate this success.
- Ensure our recruitment, onboarding, probation and leavers processes are followed and effective.
- Ensure our systems are accurate and operating effectively.
- Ensure all bills are accurate and payments processed.
- Take an active role in our cost lines and work with the relevant teams to improve and understand these results.
About you:
A highly motivated and ambitious individual with comprehensive experience managing hotel reception functions. Able to demonstrate exceptional knowledge of guest service. You will have sound English oral and written communication skills and exhibit exceptional attention to detail. Have the ability to lead by example and demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement. Experience managing teams, including 1-2-1’s, you will be a clear communicator and solutions lead manager who is looking to take an exciting new chapter in your career.
